hobie kayak $900
 

Hi im selling my Yellow hobie kayak. I got this baby last year in February. Im trying to sell it for $900 firm... Im located near downtown Los Angeles (15mins east) city of Rosemead 91770.

GLUCK with the Sale, Ferrari in the garage???

Some will debate on the market value of this kayak and the useful life left with the hull. I have a 2004/5 hull with the older drive like this and of worse shape and hope to get more years of useful use out of it. I would carefully check the drive well area for any cracking or signs of wear. It might be worth doing the drive well retrofit hobie provided years ago if you want to be proactive about it. My understanding is that if it hasn't already happened it probably won't, but better be safe rather than sorry 3 miles out in open water.

My strong suggestion is to do the preventive build up/reinforcement of this area, as suggested by Hobie, before any problems occur. This older Outback for sale looks brand new, great candidate for the fix and should last a long time.

This kayak has no leaks no cracks.. last time I use it was the beginning of lobster seasons. Works great and has positive mojo...
