Great photos....very crisp!
You got my interest peeked about all he saltwater flyfishing lately. Might have to tag along with you and get back to the flies. The weather looks terrible!:D |

Do you use a fly fishing basket? How is it fly fishing in the wind?
The only fly fishing I have done is in Alaska where you only had to cast 5 feet away and you had a silver salmon up to 18 lbs. I also caught grayling and they were great fun. I don't have my own equipment but I assume that you use 6 or 7 weight rods? |
The fly in the third photo looks really cool. Do you tie your own? That would be satisfying to tie your own than catch 'em with your creation.
I am also interested to know how it goes in the wind. And, wow, it looks like spotties cook up like Carne Asada! |
Thanks for the report. Nice photos!

Do you ever get many bonefish in the Coronado area?

Interesting I would think that there are more further south.
I have caught a ton of them in the Chula Vista area. |
I have (fly)fished that spot a number of times with my friend Richard. It is always fun thanks for posting.
