Terramar Southeast?

Has anyone ever owned a Shimano Teramar Southeast rod? Is it basically the same as the west coast version except blue/black and alittle cheaper?

I have a couple of them. They are just as nice as the west coast ones.

Other than the action, they are the same; they have a slower action that is much better suited to spectra with short top shots.

My favorite off-the-shelf rods and a "fast" action rather than "extra-fast" as the West Coast versions have, making them a bit more parabolic. I like them for halibut and I believe you can still get them with the cork handles, rather than the new wimpy West Coast versions with their minimal foam grips. SE Blue blanks/silver guides vs. WC brown blanks/black guides. The SE "heavy" feels more like a "medium-heavy' West Coast version, and the "medium-heavy" feels more like a West Coast "medium". An excellent bang for the buck.

Sweet, that's kinda what I thought but haven't been able to actually lay hands on one. I think the 7'6" heavy action is gonna work nicely with my new avet. I'm stoked!
