SALTON EXPEDITION II

Not a yak man, just an old school local and expert lifelong small craft sailor looking for an extra hand or two to pull off a badass desert adventure, sailing the length of the Salton Sea from the northwestern end to a point near Red Hill Marina County Park, approximately 30-32 nautical miles on a broad reach (if westerly winds prevail). Fast point of sail for the Fish, a broad reach... that would be a 12' Minifish, smaller cousin to the Sunfish, since my 14' Laser of decades got downsized in this Brave New Obamanomic Third World economy. A friend and I sailed the width of "The Toxic Lake" last year, reaching across from Salton City to a point near Bombay Beach, then returning on a reverse course... got photos posted at other websites, for anyone serious about pulling off this badass adventure. This time, I'll be running the length of the Salton, towing a sturdy inflatable raft astern, which means four people can go: two aboard the boat, two aboard the raft (along with a cooler or two full of food and beer on ice). Any likely candidate will undergo at least one day of sail training here in Dago, just to make sure he or she can hack it aboard the Fish. If ya can't handle sailing here in Dago, you damned sure won't cut it on the Salton, which is no place for sidewalk sissies, that's for GODD@M SURE. Only a few simple rules aboard my boat: NO WHINERS, NO FAGS, NO LYIN' BADGE-SPORTIN' GREASEBALLS OF ANY KIND, AND NO TEMPERANCE REVIVALISTS... WE DRINK BEER ON EVERY VOYAGE, AND SH!TLOADS OF IT. In fact, any hand interested in such a venture will be fully expected to bring plenty of beer, ain't goin' nowhere without making a contribution, LOL. Now, the primary mission here is to SAIL THE SALTON SEA, not to FISH, so bear that in mind: I already enjoy bragging rights for sailing across the Salton Sea, since there AIN'T NO CLUBHOUSE KOOKS AND POSERS OUT THERE, AND THERE DAMNED SURE AIN'T NO EPIC FAGTARD DARWIN FAILURES, LOL... NO SCUMBAG COPS IN SIGHT EITHER, WHICH IS A BIG PLUS. Why the f___ do ya think we go out there, anyway??? Well, guess that's enough for now, let's see if this post makes it with no trouble, 10??? If anybody's wondering why I'm posting here at this website, I deal with SUP folks and kayakers all the time as I beach my boat EVERYWHERE in Dago County: not just bay beaches, but the Point, my hometown beach of Coronado, the Strand, the f____g islands, the Salton, you name it, it has already been done, and the photos are posted elsewhere to prove it. Ya hear fagtards who CLAIM to have landed in those locations, but of course they LACK PHOTODOCUMENTATION. We don't suffer from either problem, LOL, while SUP folks and kayakers who go through the same launching and beaching routine as I do are probably more likely to have what it takes to pull off this badass desert adventure, the SALTON EXPEDITION II.

ANY HANDS INTERESTED IN PULLING OFF THIS BADASS DESERT ADVENTURE, GET BACK TO ME HERE... SALTON EXPEDITION II WILL OCCUR IN APRIL, ONCE THE OPEN WATER AREAS OF THE WILDLIFE REFUGE ON THE SALTON SEA ARE NO LONGER CLOSED TO MARINE TRAFFIC (i.e. no permits or bureaucracy required to sail through the refuge).

Getting towed in a beer dingy across the Salton Sea, behind a boat no bigger than my kayak, with a drunken sailor at the helm. What could possibly go wrong? I'll get back to you on that.

Ah, I see, this is another one of those Internet Faggot Troll websites...

Meh, who cares??? Piss off, FAGTARDS...

Oh, yeah, and don't forget to post your Salton shots... PFFFFFFFT.

Stinking faggot trash.

When I get around to it, I'll delete my post, and tell everyone I know not to bother with this site...

No small amount of people, since my best friend's family ran the local surf shop for 35 years...

You faggot turds born here in Dago County??? Oh, yeah, that's what I thought, LOL... PFFFFFFFFT.

Your user name says it all........roflmfao:doh:

Can you make exceptions, like if your a fagturd and like drinking beer but voted for Obama. Or possibly have sailed before but are not a fagturd and know many people who are temperance rivalists that enjoy beer as well. This post has me confused:confused: The only conclusion I can come up with is that you are being so antoginstic towards fagturds that all you really want is as many wonderful, fun loving people that crave to sail the small craft sailors skiff and listen to Peter, Paul and Mary as possible. Can I tow my pink Malibu Xtreme behind your skiff sailor???:kayak-surfer:

Man, if you would have posted this during duck season I'd be all over it. Sittin' in a dinghy in the middle of the Salton Sea towing a couple of dekes off the back end, cooler full of beer--Oh what fun. PS That is dekes not dikes-Id hate for you to think I was "one of them"

StinkyMatt 02-03-2014 08:37 PM

I tried Fagtarding once....didn't like it.:D

Never made eye contact...so it didn't happen.

Can I still go?

YakDout 02-03-2014 08:52 PM

:stoned:

I think we need to add a mushroom icon to BWE for this reason

YakDout 02-03-2014 09:00 PM

You really lost me at "not a yak man"

makobob 02-03-2014 09:18 PM

Where did this SMALL RAFT SAILOR come from and how did he get to BWE?
Or was that SMALL AFT SAILOR?

Sounds like fun!!!!!
I cant think of a better way to spend my time than sailing the Salton Sea with such a top notch assh#le.
He sounds kinda angry... probably because his boyfriend just left him for someone who actually has a real boat and isn't as cool as he is. :farmer:

Dude I was thinking the same thing hahaha

WildernessWanker 02-03-2014 10:44 PM

For the record he did call everyone "BIG-TIME YAK HEROES," before he bashed them. I think the guy's post is best read in the voice of Stewy from Family Guy, it really adds an element of elegance

Contact the Bait Burglar and the Big Fat One they will go with you. Somebody(s) at BWE has too much time on their hands (again), must be nice!

sounds fun and all, but not enough risk and excitement.

I mean, I go beyond the site of land and hug sharks on my yak for the hell of it.

MrPatrick 02-04-2014 05:10 AM

I read it and the voice of the guy from "Stripes" came into my head.
