Only cooked meals can win a "Cook Em" contest, and only hooked catches can win a "Hook Em" contest... what to do...

Not a fan of so much cheese with seafood but I do like lobster but prefer the other coast's lobster as it is sweeter.

I grew up on the west coast and have always loved puerto nuevo style lobster.

I was in Maine a few years back and tried the "sweet" lobster and I really did not like it. Way too sweet. I love Pacific Spiny Lobster as the flavor is so much better, IMO.

How can you go wrong with super extra sharp cheddar cheese :D

Ouch, this is a beatdown!

All three submissions are awesome!

You all kicked butt.

Made an effort and should be proud.

Changed my mind.....going with the smoked YT.

:D

Zfish seemed to have the most variety and put forth a complete effort with more culinary skill than the other entries and gets extra points for the smoked fish. He gets my vote.

Zfish03 03-01-2014 06:50 PM

Thanks for the votes! All the submissions look well done, I will definitely be trying that lobster recipe :you_rock:

kaya_one 03-01-2014 10:43 PM

Z got my vote. That smoked fish looks like it will be good 2 years from now.

Zfish, congratulations you certainly deserved it. Awesome fish and great recipes.

Smthtnnr, awesome fish as well. I know the feeling, my recipe in Dec got zero votes, (forgot to vote for myself) as my recipe was just too weird, altho super tasty.

Great job guys :yt: :lobster:

Thank you for the great entries and congratulations to Zfish03, winner of this month's Bubba Blade Fillet knife! :luxhello:

jorluivil 03-04-2014 06:57 AM

He's lucky I didn't get any crab this month.

Zfish03 03-06-2014 02:22 PM

Thanks again fellas! I'll put that blade to use :you_rock:

Lets see some of Jorluivil's crabs next month! HuntingTheBigOne told me crabs are tasty in angel hair pasta. What ever happened to that guy lol
