Personal Best! Back in Action!
1 Attachment(s)
Wasn't planning on going fishing today but I got to work and started working on my boat. Haven't been able to get it to start since my return from deployment but today she came alive! A couple of friends of mine decided we should take it out and turn her loose for a little bit. Got on the water at about 1130. Opened her up in the bay and decided to drop some baits out by the Coronado bridge. We were there for roughly and hour and a half and ended up with 5 spotties, two keepers, two lizard fish and a 32" halibut. Most of the fish were caught on big hammer swimbaits from 3" to 5". But I caught the halibut on a 1/2 oz jig head and 4" gulp swimming mullet, white. I think this is a good first posted. Don't have a yak yet but I think this will work!Attachment 11767

Nice work! Congrats. Its great to be back on the water isnt it?!

It is great to be back on the water and especially since I got my boat working again. I've been catching spotties off the shore but nothing like drifting on the "master baiter"
|
nicely done!

Congrats on the personal best. That's the best I've seen come out of San Diego Bay in the last couple of months.
