La Jolla Shores launching
 

What is going on at the LJ launch area? Can we drive onto the beach to set up and launch? From the web cam, it doesn't look like it. Any info and I'd be stoked. Tanks eh you guys!

Last time I was there (last week) driving onto the beach would require a tracked vehicle. I was contemplating hijacking an Abrams but their fuel economy is terrible and JP4 is expensive.

What??? What's going on at the launch??? I just looked at the webcam and it looks like some kind of construction. When did that happen? What are they building??? I hope it's an ice cream stand. That would be a great treat on a hot day. I hope they will have mint chocolate chip, (the green kind not the white) because it's my favorite.
