Okinawa fishing. (boat fishing)

They are engineers and doing an exchange program with our parent unit. We've been teaching them our ways for the past 2 weeks. So far they've learned to drive robots, run around in 80lb bomb suites, ID foreign and domestic ordnance and among other things they caught their first fish! I brought out my 12/0 to load up on fish mojo and also had my Mak 80 and Avet EX50. lots of fish came on the troll. we would drift past the bouys and chunk bait to the schools for only a couple fish. Great report , keep them coming. Also nice to see something from Okinawa, I spent a year there in 92', it might seem a long way from home because it is, but some of my greatest memories with buddies. Continue to enjoy!

We visited friends in Okinawa just as a typhoon hit! The next day at the beach my wife collected 40lbs of seashells and coral.
Okinawa was one of our favorite places we've ever been too. Oh yeah amazing snorkeling too! |

It's a subtropical island. Beautiful. Really enjoyed the people there as well. Much more laid back and informal compared to other parts of japan.

Awsome pictures. I was in Okinawa a few weeks ago, touring in Naha, Chatan and a couple other places. Stayed in a hotel across from the marine base for a couple days. Some amazing Fishing and diving in Chatan. Can't wait to go back. Thanks for sharing.

It was definitely a fun day. catching that wahoo on the iron was amazing. Last thing I thought I would hook. I lost my Salas 6x I caught it on and two more irons as well. one on a hook up and two on the drop. second one I felt a bump and clicked over and it was slack, the third just went slack... damn hoos! :D
