Pro angler high turn over?
I'm considering a PA but I'm curiouse why do many people sell them? Honest feedback apreciated.

I don't see any more people selling these vs other models personally :dontknow: but when I do see them sold it's usually because either it's too much of a beast to handle or they need the $$$. I'm sure there are many other reasons too. If you are interested in one, there is no reason to not go test drive one first as well as lift and maneuver it. Hope this helps

There's quite a few people in every hobby that get the best of the best including all the bells in whistles before they've even determined they even like the hobby. Not really buyer's remorse, mostly over eagerness.

GREAT boat, had the PA14, two minor problems. First as we grow older we loose the ability to move like we used to and with that comes the loss of strength. So the BOAT that was awesome at 60 gets harder to load and unload, harder to get into the water, just plain HEAVIER. The second minor problem is beach lauching and landings, because of its hull shape it is tuffer to handle in the surf zone, at least for me. At 65 I down sized to the OUTBACK, still lot's of yak but less weight so all the MINOR PA problems were gone. The Outback RIGGED is 50 pounds LIGHTER than the PA14. And handles much better in the kill zone. The PA14 was the best boat I ever owned, while the Outback is the most I can handle at this point in my life. Hope this helps.

There was another thread about this exact topic a few months ago, maybe someone can dig up a link. I think it was mainly about handling/storage issues while off the water. There was also a very nice pros/cons thread about the PA too.

I have an outback but would love to have a PA. I can't have one most likely for the same reasons why people sell them. They are noticeably heavier than outbacks. Another reason I don't have one is lack of transportation. It would seem harder to load It on top of a car if you Do not have a truck to load it on the bed. . And as mentioned before it takes up more storage space. Good luck with your decision. Either way all hobies are awesome to fish from so just choose which suits you the best with your situation.
