Honeymoon MDO
Sorry been MIA from BWE for a couple weeks for the most part with busy work schedule and getting married and moving back to the Central Coast after being in SoCal for the last year or two and Humboldt before that. My New wife and I since late 2011 till now have pretty much had about 1500 miles in moving and plan on being done for the most part and settling back here on the Central Coast.
Either way now for the report. Got married last month which was a lot of fun. Group shot of the the fishing crew at the wedding. http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/...ps22915ae8.png That next week I was able to get her on the water for about maybe an hour before she started getting seasick. She tried to push through the seasickness but I could just tell she was not feeling well and pulled the plug. Next time will treat prior, dang silverbullets did not do it on the water http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3bb29065.png Like I said only got about an hour or so maybe, Well I could not produce in that hour except a red that self released at the boat and a gopher on roids. She however caught 3 lings in that time span pretty much all keepers 24, 27, 29 inches released the first of the day which was the smaller and kept these for a buddy. http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/...ps340762ae.png The last shot of the trip she wanted to have some fun with it. http://i1304.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7d850535.png Tight lines guys, See you all soon. Keeper for sure and I'm not talking about the lings! Congrats!!!

Congrats! My wife and I went fishing on our honeymoon ... we only caught perch. From the size of those lings looks marriage is off to a good start. That is not to say that catching percj leads to a bad marriage ... 13 years a week from today we still have a great marriage ... unfortunately she still likes catching perch... I cannot get her on the yak. :cheers1:

Congrats on your wedding ! Wish you guys the best :cheers1: she's a keeper no doubt.
|
Yep! Congrats ryan!
ITS The fishing crew!! Hell yeah!!! :luxhello: |
The girl…like others have said…keeper.
No more silver bullets on the water. Seems like the wedding party has "805's" by Firestone Walker. A great beer, to celebrate a great past time. Call me crazy, but that there is a wonderful combo. Good…..girl, beer, and fishing. Makes for a good time. Well done sir. Well done. |
First welcome back Ryan ! Second congrats on the nuptials! :cheers1:
Wishing you and your bride many years of happiness! :D You lucky devil you got a real keeper. She's a real trooper that one is, she fights through the motion sickness and Kudos to you, seeing that she is in distress you pull the plug before she asks you, and she's having such a good day as well! To avoid the motion sickness issue, have you thought of fishing Stripers (or "the patch")? There are (I forget how many hundreds(?) of miles of) fishable waters in the Delta. :reeling: :reeling: :reeling: I realize Stripers don't taste as well as most saltwater gamefish but are (IMO) a worthy fight. Right before my back injuries I got the bug for Stripers @ Castaic Lake with a Fly from a boat and always wanted to try "the Delta". I've heard many stories about Delta Stripers (but also with a boat to be able to cover more water!), when I'm able I intend to target them and LMB "on the Fly" from my Kayak. Congrats again Ryan, Tight lines :reel: FFY |
Congrads Ryan! Is that anacapa bob all cleaned up in picture ?
