LOBSTER HEROES
 

We are trying to set up a Heroes on the Water LOBSTER event for about 10-12 Disabled Veterans. To be held on the North Island Naval Center. Does anyone know who to contact for permission? Or have a contact on base who might be able to help make this happen? I can hear the nay sayers, let's keep this positive, please. Thanks again for all you do.

Jim, Deamon is handling the setting up of this event, he said about 3 weeks into the new season. These Veterans are mostly new yakers so gloves for them would be great, our mentors will furnish gear to use but anything you could get would be great. Thank you for your assistance.

It is awesome that you guys are interested in taking some disabled vets out hooping.

However, this will not be a Heroes on the Water sanctioned event. We can assist in finding some of our participants that express interest in going out lobster hooping. I have a few in mind that would want to go.
