Its been a loong time.
So I had a short hiatus from west coast fishing. 4 years for dental school in New York, and just got back this summer. At UCLA for a year residency and then Ill be looking to practice somewhere in so cal.
But, I did get to do a little fishing while in new york. Montauk can get absolutely insane! http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/a...o/IMG_0851.jpg But this is how I felt when I got back: http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/a...o/DSC02741.jpg What got me through the last winter was knowing what I was going to pick up as soon as I got back. The new rides: http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/a...o/DSC02781.jpg First day out, I knew that I was going to be rusty and just wanted to make sure that everything worked. It certainly did! http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/a...67344036_o.jpg Second time out was this last weekend, and I was set on yellowtail. I was out all 3 days and was able to make it happen: Found the bait. Loving the 7 inch dragonfly btw. http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/a...o/DSC02785.jpg And found the fish! http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/a...o/DSC02790.jpg |
"Stew, you're not a real doctor"
Congrats on school and getting back home. |
SWeet!. How are you liking that ridgeline?
|
Great report. How do you carry your kayak on the Ridgeline? I don't see a rack.
|
nice report thanks for sharing.:cheers1:

Welcome back home.
Always fun to fish new places, but... "There's no place like home" :D |
Nice job. It's like riding a bike!
|
That dragonfly looks rad. Nice fish!
|
thanks guys! Ya, by state standards... Im a doctor. By Hangover standards... nope! HAHA
I love the ridgeline. I actually had one before I moved, and knew I was going to get another one when I got back. I use a bed extender which sticks out pretty far with the PA, but it seems to work just fine. |
WHat year is the Ridge been thinking about getting one.
|
Congrats on finishing up dental school and getting back on the fish! :cheers1:
I'll be starting my first year of dental school at UCLA in a couple weeks! :D |
