Marine street. Probably not gonna be doable till the sand comes back

PapaDave 12-16-2014 07:47 AM

I didn't know there were rocks under the sand !?!?

Where do you launch at the Shores?

surfisher 12-16-2014 09:30 AM

That sounds great, but just to be fair you will also need to launch and land with Danno. That way you will get the full experience and learn the proper techniques, sorry Charlie. Happy Holidays.

I don't wanna jinx it but I'm pretty much batting .999 on launching and landing. Dumped one time on my outback years ago at 330 in the morning in the middle of winter. Jumped out of my pro angler another time into shoulder deep water, no flip.

Timing, speed, and "f**k it". That's how you launch, land

Did the "too early jump" on Sunday! And of course, it was too hot for my surf top.....well a little damp never hurt anybody.
Timing is everything on launches like this one....patience is key.

Dannowar 12-16-2014 03:19 PM

Well it's not exactly key....ask mr Patrick

Gotta love what storms can do to the reefs. Reminds me of a shot I took a few years ago down the street.

It's funny how the mind works. When I saw this picture the first thing I thought of was the "Dirty Harry" movie and the quote "Do you feel lucky?".
Obviously been reading too many Team Sewer posts!

Anyone know if the shore launch is drivable right now after their 6 months of work got washed away? Are they back working on it ?

MrPatrick 12-23-2014 07:15 AM

Dannowar.
That's MrPatrick!
And my one bad bad day will live forever. 😄😄😄

Looks pretty drivable as of yesterday. Looks better than before the work was done.

YakDout 12-23-2014 09:27 AM

As long as they let me in ill be good. I have a pretty big truck with a good 4 low

YakDout 12-23-2014 09:28 AM

I'm actually hoping to get some spearing in with him over the break! Hopefully he has a camera ready to watch me foundering about in the break screaming so all of BWE can see :D

Happy holidays to all, and hopefully I will see some of you out on the water in the coming week.
