Launched late at about 9am, only made 6 Spanish in an hour, seemed like the kelp disappeared. Slow trolled on the bottom, fish finder did not show any life, was buzzed by two whales, called it quits by 2pm, nearly got swamped on the way in, rogue 2' footers.
Next time

Sounds like my luck of late... four skunks in a row along with two el rollos. Have been able to make bait galore with one undersized lingcod and a couple of nice calico mixed in but that's about it.
