Follow the birds...

lesson 101 for finding pelagics! Major bird school today, out West, feeding on red crabs. Slow trolled, a Spanish mac and got one (18-20#'s).
What a year...perfect timing, for me, to get into the sport. I know I'm getting spoiled, however I'll take what Mother Nature is giving up. Wish I could say the same for my offshore trips with my buddies in there boats. No tuna yet for me this season , however I am having a blast with the inshore yellows!!! Tight Lines, Geno |
Congrats on the yellow.

Well done. This is the time of year when your best fish finder is your eyes. It doesn't need to be as obvious as mass of diving bird either. One tern circling and looking down is all it can take to show fish. Mike
