Friggin FINALLY

Paid off my layaway down at OEX and now have my new Tarpon 120! :luxhello::luxhello:Picked it up saturday and had it out all day sunday on the lagoon. Super stoked. Still working on rigging it and getting all the details right. Still gotta get an FF and a radio, and a proper PFD but after that im headed for the local kelp. Untill then Im sticking to the lagoons and practicing surf launches, recoveries, etc.

This thing is olive green, and, as overdone as probably it is, its screaming for a sharmkouth decal on the bow, Flying Tigers style. Ive looked around but i havent seemed to find one that looks right. Anyone have any sources?

Also a shout out to PAL on the forums for the rigging tips and conversation Saturday. Seems like everytine im down at OEX i meet someone new from here.

I love the Tarpon 120 as I fished on one in La Jolla once a week for four year until I switched to the darkside.

Your Kayak is very fast and is fantastic going in and out of the surf.

It is a great open ocean kayak.

IMO, a live bait tank is more important than a FF if you only have the cash for one.

Welcome to the addiction
