Hobie Outback Paddle

I NEED: A Hobie Outback paddle

I HAVE: An Aqua-Bound paddle, made in Canada. It's nice, but probably more suitable for another kind of kayak and another kind of paddling.

I am happy to trade, buy, sell, etc., to get the paddle I want for my Outback.

Darn thats what I use on MY OUTBACK. The Hobie paddles I do not use, broke two in a year.

Hmmm. I've never had a Hobie Outback paddle. The Aqua-Bound paddle seems to be nice quality, but the total length feels a tad short for me and the width of my Outback. I'm thinking a little more reach will feel more natural to me.

Perhaps this deserves a little more research.

Thanks to both of you for the tip.

Unless you are on a budget, I don't recommend the Hobie paddle, cheezy and they break. Spend the money and buy something nicer, it's worth the investment. My main paddle is a custom made ONNO. I also have a Werner Corryvreken which is my backup. You have to get the right length paddle based on your paddle style and the width of your kayak.
