Great day yesterday with Pat and Kit. Lost a big bull dodo in the early afternoon. Had it right under the boat before he broke off. A few hours later grab my first tuna from kayak. On the way in got a toad YT. One of the best days so far in the year and a half I been doing this. Almost had a new kind of slam Tuna, Dodo, YT.

Beautiful fish and epic day Bert. You definitely put in the hours. How far out were you?

For anyone who thinks you can just go out to 200' of water off the the corner and catch a tuna... I bet Bert would beg to differ. Its a lot of work fishing offshore on the yak.

Excellent job, Bert! You really looked like you were out of gas on the launch. I was ready to fall asleep on the beach. Can't imagine driving an hour like you. 14 hours on the water, fighting 3 big fish, and putting in all those miles on the pa. Stud!
