Heading out tomorrow morning till around noon or so. Anyone else headed out before the swell?

Is it gonna be launchable?

MSW, NOAA and cdip for the pier all day it'll be 3'at 15-21s. But should definitely be getting in by noon ish as swells should start coming in

Paddle like hell. :kayak-surfer:. Long period swell usually disapates at launch ? That will be interesting to say the least . Paddling out in dark , in fog , and 3-4' waves slapping you with a wake up call.

Eh. We'll see how it goes. Long period means i should be able to time it, theoretically say least. Hoping to launch around 6/630. If it looks like crap I'll be hitting one of the bays.

I'm most worried about getting back in before 7'swells start coming in...

4-6 ft waves at launch is whole different animal . :kayak-surfer:
