Excellent Shoes for Kayak Fishing
I have been looking for a good shoe for kayak fishing that would suit my purposes here in San Diego and also in Baja Mexico. This shoe is really an excellent shoe for fishing especially on a kayak. It is a wider shoe which is great for me and it has excellent drainage when you are walking in the water. The sole is very good on rough terrain and protects you on the beach from rocks and even from sting rays that may be roaming around. They are extremely comfortable with a removable sole and great for walking around town after fishing. I have been looking for a shoe like this for quite awhile and happy that I have found it. Most shoes for kayaking are not wide in the toe and very few of them drain at all. Check out these shoes they are very comfortable with removable soles and extremely lightweight. #softscience

These never let me down

These look nice, only I've had Sperrys before that had a leather shoestring like these and I always had a problem with keeping them tied. Not sure if that is the case with these or not. That would be a downside for me, as the last thing I want to mess with is retying my shoes while sitting in a kayak. Just my two cents.

Take a look at the astral aquanots. I use these for hiking in wet conditions and on the kayak they drain awesome and have nice grip.

I have spent good money for Adidas , Teva..water shoes.
They are well made, except the sole will just separated , they just glued on ! I have to stitched them up myself , they still work . No more spending $80+ for the water shoes.... Attachment 19088 |

Seavenger aqua socks
I'm using the seavenger socks. I like the sun protection they provide on ankles and lower legs.
