Was loaded for LJ yesterday but felt like crap when I woke up early. Did a bunch o chores ECT n reloaded for bass. Hit Otay around 3 n did what I usually do there. Which is paddle around watching bass that wont bite. Stayed on the west side and up in to the Otay arm. As it got darker I saw some boils but nothing really got going. Went back to a point n weed bed where I saw fish earlier in fished top water n shallow running baits. Saw sporadic boils that I could never quite reach. Got one bite for one fish n paddled on in. Will s died it was a nice paddle tho. Mike

It was a good day!

1. Got to ride Kayak
2. Caught a fish
3. Got out of the house
4. Got exercise
5. Made it back home

Matt, well summed up. I call that Otay trip a total success. The lake is close to my place n $10 to fish. Win/win. Mike
