Bassin' Blythe Riviera
This is a fishing report from the Blythe backwater which I fished on 5/13/17.
- Air temps foretasted to be 90-degrees - Morning was nice probably in the 70s & 80s with mild breeze - My in hull water temp monitor at 67-degrees after launch - Water is stained aqua marine color - Bluegill appear to be spawning visibly in the shallows - Bass are deep in the cover - Bass on smaller side compared to So. Cal lakes. - Enjoyable scenic area free of the boisterous crowds...best part! Here are a few pics: I take a look at a fish I caught: http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/...psthtsxbl1.jpg I wrestled this one out from under a brush pile: http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/...pscz4pohyq.jpg I saw this guy hiding under a pile of reeds: http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/...psrxzfpzra.jpg This little one ate my Roboworm: http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5yr956vd.jpg Thanks |
