SD Bay 6/18/17
 

Took my friend out in the bay today for his first evs kayak fishing session. Launched from Shelter at like 7 and fished underneath boats for a few hours.

I got like 6 short bass on the white 3" swimbait and a FATTY white croaker on a chunk of cut squid. Bite was best from like 8-9:30.

My friend managed some short bites on the swim bait, but couldn't convert the hookups. Nearly lost a rod in the drink at one point. :eek:
