Redondo Harbor Commission Meeting 12/11 @6:30pm
 

The Redondo Harbor Commission meets Monday evening on Dec. 11th at 6:30pm at the City offices on PCH next to the Library and Police station.
The Harbor Commission meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
at the City Council Chambers, 415 Diamond Street, Redondo Beach, CA 90277


Please sign this petition if you are interested in getting the City to reinstate the flat rate for parking in the Redondo Beach Marina parking lot and utilizing the "Hand Launch"...

I'll be presenting the signatures for the parking petition at the meeting...we have over 300 signatures at this time.
It would be great if a few kayak anglers could show up and represent at this meeting.

I plan to address the council on behalf of pier fishermen.

I just got off the phone with Stephen Proud the Harbor Commissioner and he said to be there promptly at 6:30pm as the meeting moves right along and the non-agenda items are first.
He also said it would be a quick affair and we should be out of there by 7pm.
If we want additional speakers we each get about 3 or 4 minutes to speak.

6 kayak anglers attended the meeting and we each spoke...Thanks Bill, Roby, Tony, Druco, and Ken...I hope this helps get affordable parking in Redondo again...! Mark from the King Harbor Yacht Club also voiced his support at the meeting.

Was nice that Mark from King Harbor Yacht Club spoke in our favor, but man... thought that guy was never going to stop... lol!...

Well can't say we didn't try...hopefully something positive will result. I guess it remains to be seen.
