Lake Barrett San Diego county Cinco de Mayo 2018
 

Arrived at lake Barrett around 10pm.... Put my coolers and fishing rods on the front seats... put all the seats down on my Car... and the kids and i slept in the back... 4:30 came along... and we start driving in...

Lots of shad on water.... water was dirty maybe because of last weeks rain... Fishing was tough.... But we managed to catch our fair share...

Mostly on plastic worms and small minnows

Nicely done.

Teaching the kids how to firmly lip a bass without putting pressure on the jaw, beautiful work. Its the easiest and safest way to CPR those fish.
