Castaic again, new ride
Got rid of the Revo, and jumped into a 2017 Outback. What a world of a difference. The 180 and Vantage seat rocks:notworthy: Got a feel for being on the ride as well as doing some bassing again at the lake. Gonna switch gears into the salt soon:sifone:

Sweet. Is it getting grassy yet?

Now that you've been in an Outback and Revo, how do you compare the two?
I'm very curious on your thoughts, especially from a bass angler perspective... |

I'm really loving this outback, I do have to say the revo was an older model and this vantage seat and 180drive is a world of a difference. But being on the lake w the Revo I felt very limited with storage of multiple set ups..even though I had the rails and not really being able to stand up for casting in certain areas. I was lower to the water in the revo and when I would go to scoop up the bass I didnt feel comfortable being sideways. I sure did get to the end of the lake faster in the revo. Now with this 180 I can be in tight areas and stay in place while working the area which is great! There was one cove that I produced most my bites without having to reposition. Definitely going to make my way over to the salt eventually but these bass wont let me go! :cheers1: |
Thanks for the post! You're inspiring me to try out the freshwater!
