Polarized glasses
 

Looking to get a nice pair of polarized glasses specifically geared towards inshore fishing. Looking to see what all you guys recommend. Really looking to get a pair of glasses that can cut through the water so I can see subsurface fish more clearly. Any advice is welcome. As always, thank you fellow anglers. Tight lines!

They work great.ake the world look like it's in HD. They are not cheap but have a life time warranty.

Costas are nice, but when I tried to use the warranty, the cost associated was more than buying a new set of less expensive glasses. I wasn't happy with how easily the lenses scratched, and the "service fee" for the warranty was a real turnoff.

For on the water I have some Bombers. For driving & elsewhere I have prescription Maui Jims

Yea, I was looking at those. You say that they scratch easily? Do you happen to know what type of lenses you have?

Mine have the 580 glass have dropped them on the deck and in the sand mine dont have any scratches.



Only down side i would say is they are heavy. my daily glass are smith guides choice.

the lenses on the costas by far are the best.

I have a pair of Costa Corbina and love em

Plastic / poly carbon, whatever they call their non-glass lenses.

They are 5-6 years old. I took them to the booth at the FHS a couple years ago and they guy told me to mail them in with a check and they would evaluate them.

Wasn't looking for an instant replacement, but wasn't looking to shell out more $ just to have them "evaluated". They are now one of the sets I wear when operating powertools in the yard

What are your guys' preferences when it comes to lens color? I think the green mirror looks like it may cut into the water nicely? What color do you guys have and do you like it?

Those blenders look legit. Ive been wanting to buy Costa's forever but didn't want to drop the 200+. Im about to give these a shot. Thanks B

I'm super light sensitive so I'm VERY particular about what lenses I wear. I've tried A LOT.

I've used them in all water depths and have been very happy. Easily see reef off Catalina in +/- 20'. Gets the Calis hooked before anyone else sees em. ;)

I swear I've never seen the world more clear then with these shades. Light weight, sticks to a sunscreen covered face, and fantastic optics. I highly recommend checking them out.
