Non Kayak Report
Looks like the Yellowtail are on their way up the coast. I went to the Coronado Islands recently for a pretty fun Yellowtail bite. I nearly limited on the first stop, with 4 all on the Yoyo Iron. I spent the rest of the day Hook and handing (yoyo and Bait). We ended up with limits of yellowtail along with a several catch and release Bonito and Barracuda.
My go to gear was my new Avet JX raptor with a short top shot of 50# flouro with a blue and White Sumo 6 tied on. Hopefully we'll start seeing more numbers in La Jolla as they move up the coast.
