Kayak Fishing Dana Point | The Strand | Salt Creek Targeting Sheephead

This past Saturday the guys from Fish Village had a meet and greet at Pure Watersports and there were many Kayak anglers filling the parking lot. Finally with all this COVID crap going on it was nice to have a group meet up.
Anthony, Ryan and. I where we were going to the Strand and Salt Creek to target Sheephead. Shrimp was the way to go, they really weren’t interested in the squid today. I started out trolling an XRap Slash bait outside the Jetty heading north towards the Headlands and it didn’t take long to hook up on a Barracuda. We caught several different inshore species and I manager to take a few keepers home.
