Started early as the upcoming tide stated at 6:00 AM.

went NP today 10/21 water was calm , lot of small barracuda , decent bass biting
Hooked really big halibut ,had good fight , but my gaff was too small for it As soon as I gaffed , it took off I didn't expect that big halibut lives New Port harbor I think around 30lb Another kayaker took picture that moment you can compare the head and my gaff size |
