Dolly Wheels...
Does anyone know where I could get light weight dolly wheels locally (plastic hub, rubber tire)? I built my own cart, and would like to change out my heavy Harbor Freight wheels. I could get them from the rolleez site, but prefer getting them at a store in San Diego. Thanks, Dennis

There is a booth at kobys swapmeet that carries alot of hardware... they have a variety of wheels from lawnmower wheels to wheel barrel wheels for real cheap.
I use the ones for dollies at $6 each... because it uses bearings. the light plastic ones does not use bearings and will wear down quickly at the hub. |
Hardwear stores usualy have a few types.

Thanks for the responses, guys. I use dolly tires now, and the bearings are starting to seize up. So, less metal is best (for me, anyway). I rarely use my dolly, because it's so convenient at LJ. But for the crowded days, and when I fish the bay it would like something light.
