WSB Hatchery Program a bigger success than expected!
A new study four years in the making by a team of marine fisheries and genetic scientists indicates there are much more white seabass swimming in California ocean waters that originated in the Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute (HSWRI) hatchery than previously thought. :wsb::wsb::wsb:

It was really enjoyable being involved....
In the feeding and cleaning of that program.
Unfortunately I didn't get to finish my term and had to quit. I was diagnosed with colon cancer and wound that wound not heal, because of infected hernia mesh. I did go back after surgery for one last feeding before realizing I was going to have another surgery to remove infected hernia mesh. Bummed I didn't make it to releasing the baby WSB :wsb: But did catch a monster under a blood moon 🌙 lunar eclipse :wsb: After that |
Numbers...
I always doubted the report that said the program wasn't helping, been fishing here for 40 some odd years, I see the difference.
