San Diego Bay 5-8
Fished Shelter Island area 9am-4pm, two small sandies, lizard fish and the attached first image, not sure what it was, barracuda? Pretty good chop on the water with persistant SW wind.

I think that that is some kind of a needle fish.

That is a needlefish, usually found in tropical waters. The locals in Hawaii love to eat em. TP

You are right, it is a needle fish. There are a fair number of them that live in the outflow at the South Bay power point in Chula Vista.

Also there are lots of them in the San Gabriel Channel in Long Beach. That is also an outlet of warm water from a power plant. They get quite long.
