2 speed reels
 

thinking about buying a 2 speed reel for trolling and jigging. your thoughts on advantages and disadvantages, brands, gear ratios, etc.

2-speeds are completely unnecessary for kayaks. It doesn't add any advantage to catching fish and they are more difficult to maintain and rebuild. Just my opinion.

I agree with Dave, my 2 speed stays on my boat.
