10/17/09 - San Diego Bay
Halibut are biting pretty good in the bay. Fished the tide swing from 230-430P near the bait receiver. They bit good on the slack low. Bumped the sand on long casts, going with the tide. 1oz War Head with a 5.5" Big Hammer #10 - Surf Smelt.
The halibut I kept went 10lbs @ 31". Few others released, some skulpin also. http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/PA170980.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/PA170975.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/PA170981.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m...d/PA170986.jpg |
