Maybe a ladder and some Windex.

If only there was a tall, OEX Pro Staff member that was constantly in the area that could clean it for us.......

A. A Super Soaker filled with Window Cleaner.

B. A Water Balloon.

C. A Human Totem Pole.

D. A paint roller on an 8' aluminum extension doused with Windex.

I few mornings ago I checked the LJ web cam about 3 am. The moon was full and I wanted to check the surf before I made the drive from Vista. I was able to see the low tide surf but most of the screen was taken up by this strange glowing, quivering line with a glowing blob slowly moving up and down it. :redface: Have had no coffee yet so it took me a minute to come up with what I think was a spider making a trap out of the camera lens. I think a rag on the end of a jig stick will take care of the "spider web cam"

Sounds like a job for evereyone's favorite guide and his 9 1/2 feet of jigging fury.....

There are 2 cameras down there, a round one, and a conventional security style camera, which one is the BWE camera ?

I almost made a post yesterday when I checked the cam. I saw a fly squirming around in the web only to be attacked by the spider, wrapped up, and dragged off for lunch. It was like watching a show on discovery. Had to hit refresh three times to catch the entire saga. Very cool. There were also a few yakkers coming in which made me wonder if they were having as much luck as the spider.

All we need is a bunch of Laguna based Peta activists adding spiders to the species we are endangering in LJ. If they can't close the water they will use spider homicide as a way to close the launch.

Clay got a BB gun for Christmas, sure he would be glad to take care of those spiders...

I went there today, its way too high to reach from the street.

We need a blaster water gun to shoot from the street and it will be clean.
