SPECIAL REQUEST OUT TO ALL
BIG WATERS EDGE KAYAK FISHERMAN!!!!!! I went out yesterday in search again of the ever impossible Trifecta..I started out the morning & headed north past Gilder, practically in Del Mar. Right away I lock on to one Giant Mother of a Hali and this S.O.B'ing piece of plywood had Nitrous! Unfortunately the bastard bit through my Kiyo-Sevelon-rig!:farmer: I honestly can't grasp the strength in this fight he provided me..I have hooked up on plenty of Sharks and Rays from here to Florida, and I cant wait to bring one up yakside and have him kick the living crap outta me even more. I think I "may" go into permeant butt-mode after this, and abandon my summer search for understanding the:yt:more thoroughly?!..:biggrinjester: I lock on to another Butt slightly smaller, but he inhaled the entire rig and bit me off at the flouro before the hook!:farmer: I will now re-rig with wire before the hook also, and hopefully find that flat bastard with my two dollar glow sinker still wrapped around his deformed head! Paddled between #one & #two for a almost 23# :yt:who kicked the crap outta me..I thought he would have been at least twenty five from the fight..I had one hellofa paddle back in some strong currents..Took me almost two hours to get back in, and I wasnt gaining much ground as I was almost dragged past PB..How much weight do u think a:yt:loses from bleeding a 20-30# class? 1#? I put in more miles than one of my lobster trips yesterday, and thats a ton! My hands look like im a leper from all the abuse. Wish i had a gps to track the actual miles, as it all paid off!...Thanks Crown Jewel.....:sifone::you_rock::cheers1: |
Definately one of the most stoked anglers otw. Good job

Wade, do you drive a small dark truck? I was watching the CCTV cam yesterday evening and watched you toss that beast into the back of your truck. I tried to snap shot the image and post it, but could not get it to save.

Ikrash- damn man...how do you find them like that.... LOTS of paddling... i was out where you told me to be yesterday...nobody catching anything...stupid red tide...hopefully conditions improve...morale is worsening as the skunking continues... I looked for you, and didnt see you anywhere, I also hailed u and the guy who came 150 miles in the orange & red yak, but no answers on #68..You had to be pretty far away from me, because a Pile of people hooked up to say the least..outside the red tide where the water clears up is key.. |
