Feeling better about that shark spotting...
 

Did a PM @ LJ the other day and met a guy named "mike".. He does research on great white sharks, and was called in because there was a harbor seal floating around near the cove with it's head missing last week. He was excited to hear that a shark had been spotted..

Long story short, he dives with the 15-17' GWS's at Guadalupe ALL THE TIME and has tagged most of them...The way he talked about these sharks made me feel ALOT safer about our little friend thats been hangin out. Before our chat I was definately feelin a little uneasy on my recent 5am paddles to the pier :lol:

conclusion- don't worry guys.. we "probably" won't get eaten :lol: :roll: :lol:

good to hear but still scarier than shit when that thing is hovering next to you. :shock:

The bad news-- it was only one seal.

GOOD! Now maybe we could talk about something else @ 5 o'clock in the morning, when we paddle from the pier to the corner... Right, Ryan.. :lol: :lol:
