Pro Challanger GSD 30
5 Attachment(s)
So a few years ago after reading all the reviews I bought two of these reels one to use and one for parts. I have used one since I bought them both and it has done well. the other one has been spooled up with Ande 20# and went on one trip but was not used and has been left in the box since. Since it sits I figured with rock fishing going off some else could use it. first $25.00 takes it. I will be up to Bass pro shop in Rancho Cucamonga on Saturday the 19th of March and down in Escondido on Sunday the 20th.
got no cash offer up a trade. No thats not the stock handle, but it stays with the reel. Specs from the manufacturer by way of Alan Tani's forum. PRO Challenger GSD-30 Gear Ratio 3.8:1 with Loud Clicker Alan Tani did a break down on this reel couple years ago (http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=34.0). * Star drag system. * 2 Stainless steel bearings * Micro casting adjustment controller * Carbon fiber drag washers stack. * Stainless steel drive gear * Auto anti-reverse system * One piece graphite body frame * Metal clutch lever * Very strong design with large line capacity in its class. * In blue color. reviewed by Alan here http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=34.0 Attachment 3854 Attachment 3855 Attachment 3856 Attachment 3857 Attachment 3858 |

despite all the trash talk it's a decent reel. I still have one and plan on keeping it. it's actually smoother then a jig master and a daiwa Accudepth Plus. I know because I have all 3. its geared low and with braid is perfect for rock fishing. I will be in la Jolla this summer and it will be with me. |
K cool send me a message if you have it and gona be heading to lj.
