Great stuff. Thank you for all the information. Did you look at the Dragonfly's? if you did, did you consider the upgraded transducer? I think it's the CPT 60.

Picked this one up off of La Jolla a few days ago. 40" 32lbs... Correction... Calibrated my scale this weekend using Tony's halibut. I'm 2lbs heavy. So bring this one down to 30lbs.

Saw fresh to salt at the landing. We both had similiar stories. Hot bite for about 45 minutes then crickets. I went 1 for 2 on yellows and watched another guy get 3!

Short Story: Dana Point, 60.4 degrees, bite came around 10:30 on a greenie, dropper loop, about a 85lb BSB... fish swam away healthy after a little towing.
