I carry 3 rods, two for trolling/dropshot, one for casting. Any one of them serves for bait fishing rig by clipping sabiki to the line/ring, or even the ring on the circle hook! No sabiki rod!

Friday--surf was non-existent from 5 till noon. So were the YT unfortunately.

Gonna keep an eye on the web cam to see if the low surf holds into Sunday.

Congrats! I got skunked the day before--same conditions--with simultaneous flyline and egg sinker lines out. I'm still not sure if that is better or worse than bringing a nice sized YT up...

Wolfman--I've got a stock Hobie paddle and better yet, a fiberglass Cobra one-piece with about a 60 deg feather--very light with blade shape a bit better than Hobie for dealing with surf.
