Usually by the end of the fishing day, at least 1 of the weigh boats will be back near the launch. Typically from what I understand you just have to be in line by 1pm for your fish to qualify.

Catch a fish hold on to it until the weigh boat can come in and weigh it for you. You have to call them of course...not complicated at all.
