Replies: 31 Lowrance Elite Chirp Fishfinders Views: 8,389 Posted By Chuck D 50/200 is way better then the 83 for deepwater.... 50/200 is way better then the 83 for deepwater. Have had both and the 83 hardly works in deep water. It is made for better resolution in shallow water applications.
