I completely agree that's its worth it to make the paddle from baby beach MOST of the time, but when you've been paddling all day long and the rough Dana south winds pick up that paddle can be down...

If you go to the back of the harbor you can launch for free, but it's a long paddle out of the harbor and to the nearest bed. You can launch for $10 at the boat launch and save yourself a paddle too....
