The guys were drifting, fishing outside the surfline with the motor off, but when the motor would not fire up they drifted into the surf.
The guy up front is trying to get an anchor ready to deploy as a last ditch effort to keep them off the sand.
They are lucky they got it running when they did otherwise they would of been completely swamped by the next set.Chalk the whole thing up to Captain error. He should of never drifted in that close without the motor running. At least he saved his boat, more luck then anything I'd say. Maybe the surf knocked around his batts enough they finally made a connection.Old story that's been posted before
. I heard the guy up front ended up with some broken bones but they did save the boat, and make it back in the end.
