If you have an old version of Navionics for the iPhone, you can upgrade to the latest and greatest now, (3 day sale), for $4.95. The new version seems to be much faster and has a bunch of new features. This version has down-loadable maps for all US coastal and inland waterways. When you download a map, it stays on your iPhone so you do not have to be connected to the Internet or a 3G signal in order to use the app.

If you have the Navionics app on your iPhone, simply open it up and you will see a message offering the upgrade. For new users, the cost is $14.95.
