17. The limit of fish per competitor will be eight (8) with no more than five (5) of any one species. Anglers must comply with DFG limits.
18. The following species will not be allowed for weigh in: tomcod, smelt, anchovy, herring, mullet, needlefish, midshipmen, lizardfish, squid, rays, skates, and sharks . All game fish will be accepted. There is a 12 inch minimum length for tournament weigh-in. Threshers will be allowed.

Threshers are not a factor as the May 20th monthly Bay tubers tournament venue is Huntington Harbor, launching from OEX Sunset Beach. This is the day after the WCW Kickoff, so hows about fishin your butt off that weekend.Twenty + pound halibut are not uncommon in the harbor. That is pointage
Tourney starts at 7AM, weigh in at 1 PM, potluck and raffle to follow.
These monthly tourneys are usually nice and small, 20-30 people. Should be a hoot.
