I've caught them as early as 6am and as late as 4pm. The hardest time to catch them is when the wind is cranking in 10kts + range, that usually occurs between the time you get on the water and them time you get off the water

So far the forecast for Sunday is looking good but like Greg said, don't count on the forecast to be accurate. Whenever the wind is blowing in the 10kts + range you'll see the lifeguards rescuing yakkers that get caught 2 miles from the launch. If you're not used to or prepared to paddle in headwinds stay close to shore.....cabrillo winds are no joke.
