Am going to get an early start tomorrow morning, anyone have an update on how the conditions have been at la jolla? Would like to make it out there early, hit the water about 6:30. It seems to have been pretty windy recently and the voice in my head tells me shelter island / tip of San Diego bay might be a better bet. I have an x-factor and paddling with daughters boyfriend who has an old school 14' ocean kayak scupper. La jolla would be a first, San Diego bay have been out a few times.
