The pier light was off this morning
I found bait on the canyon edge in 75-85 ft. as many spanish mackeral as you need.
Once the sun came up, several patches of bait began puddling. I parked myself on top of one the bigger balls of bait and just kinda drifted and moved with the bait.
No signs of big fish.
